2nd EDITION OF INTAC RETURNS TO KLCC

KUALA LUMPUR, 28 Sept – The International Tourism, Arts and Culture Exhibition and Conference (INTAC) is set to return for its second edition from 2-4 October 2026 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

Serving as an ecosystem-driven platform, INTAC’26 connects organizations, businesses and practitioners across the global tourism, arts and culture sectors to exchange ideas, showcase offerings and foster cross-border collaborations.

The event will be officiated by Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, YB Chiew Choon Man.

Spanning 1,164 square meters of exhibition space, INTAC’26 will feature 135 exhibitors representing 25 countries, including Australia, China, Egypt, France, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and the Chechen Republic (Russia), alongside local Malaysian participants.

The lineup encompasses tourism boards, destination management companies (DMCs), artisans, fashion designers and cultural practitioners.

Over the three-day event, an estimated 5,000 trade visitors and public attendees will experience a rich program featuring;

  • Exhibitions & Marketplaces: Industry showcase, Artisans Bazaar, destination presentations, and industry pocket talks.
  • Cultural & Youth Programs: Live cultural performances, fashion showcases, and youth-focused interactive activities.

INTAC’26 Virtual Conference (3 October 2026): Organized in partnership with academic partner International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), focusing on sustainable tourism, culture, and innovation.

The virtual conference features:

  • INTAC CTRE Pass: Tailored for certified tour guides seeking to earn Continuing Tourism Related Education (CTRE) points.
  • 6th International Conference on Languages, Education and Tourism (ICLET 2026): A platform for academic publication, research recognition, and bridging industry practices with academic insights.
