KAKI PANCING BAKAL GEGAR CABARAN JORAN AMPANG JAYA

AMPANG JAYA, 13 Jun – Seramai 500 peserta bakal berentap merebut hadiah keseluruhan bernilai lebih RM10,000 pada Cabaran Joran Ampang Jaya di Tasik Pandan Perdana Jaya minggu depan.

Timbalan Yang Dipertua MPAJ, Hasrolnizam Shaari berkata, program memancing itu diharap dapat membantu mempromosi pelancongan domestik di kawasan Ampang Jaya selain mempromosikan aktiviti Tahun Melawat Selangor 2025 dan Tahun Melawat Malaysia 2026.

Pertandingan anjuran bersama MPAJ, Jawatankuasa Penduduk MPAJ dan Airfour Classic itu turut mendapat sokongan daripada Tourism Malaysia.

“Pada edisi 2023, peserta yang berjaya menawan ikan patin seberat 1.795 kilogram(kg) telah muncul juara dan ketika itu pelbagai spesis ikan seperti talapia, patin, belida, toman, haruan, keli, ketutu serta ikan bandar raya turut dinaikkan oleh peserta.

“Lebih dua tahun tiada pertandingan memancing diadakan tasik berkenaan dan berharap warga Ampang Jaya dan kaki pancing tidak melepaskan peluang untuk hadir beraksi dan berkumpul bersama keluarga pada pertandingan kali ini.

“Menariknya, Tasik Pandan Perdana begitu dekat dengan Kuala Lumpur dan ini memberi peluang kepada kaki-kaki pancing terutama sekitar Lembah Klang untuk hadir,” jelas Hasrolnizam.

Beliau juga menjelaskan bahawa juara pertandingan kali ini bakal membawa pulang hadiah wang tunai RM4,000, naib juara (RM1,000), ketiga (RM700) manakala tempat keempat hingga ke-70 masing-masingnya akan menerima RM70.

Yuran penyertaan RM40 dikenakan untuk sebatang joran dan konsep pertandingan adalah sapu bersih dimana semua spesis ikan dipertandingkan.

Pendaftaran akan dibuka di lokasi pertandingan pada Sabtu ini mulai jam 3 petang hingga 7 malam dan keesokannya kaunter akan dibuka bermula jam 6.30 pagi hingga 10 pagi.

MILO HIDUP BOLA CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF SHAPING FUTSAL CHAMPIONS

PETALING JAYA, 9 June – MILO Hidup Bola carnival proudly marks its 20th anniversary of empowering Malaysian youth through the fast-paced excitement of futsal – making it  longest‑running youth futsal programme in the country.

Since its establishment in 2005, the programme has welcomed over 200,000 children who have embraced the beautiful game, discovering not only their athletic potential but also enduring values that transcend the court.

The country’s premier youth futsal programme has since produced national footballers and futsal stars who credit MILO Hidup Bola with laying the foundations of their careers, who now represent the nation on the international stage.

By blending technical skill development with values such as teamwork, resilience and discipline, MILO Hidup Bola embodies the belief that ‘Sports is a Great Teacher’, guiding young players to pursue dreams both on and off the court.

From the outset, MILO Hidup Bola aimed to identify and nurture raw talent. As a former head coach of Malaysia’s men’s national futsal team, Chiew Chun Yong, fondly known as Coach Yong recalls: “I’ve seen firsthand how effective this program is. Many players who started in MILO Hidup Bola are now playing in the Malaysia Premier Futsal League (MPFL). Some have even made it to the national football team.”

His philosophy that sport builds character, has shaped countless programmes and inspired parents to become volunteer coaches themselves, creating a self-sustaining community of supporters.

“MILO Hidup Bola is a great platform. Without it, many kids would not have access to coaching or competition. Their growth in mental toughness is especially evident during actual competition. They play with heart, soul and great passion.

“When I first joined in 2015 to help develop a module and training programme for MILO Champions Clinic, we focused on basic techniques for children who had never held a ball. Watching a seven-year old evolve into a confident, disciplined athlete is the greatest reward,” said Yong.

I constantly remind them: “Don’t be a solo hero. Use your skills to support your teammates. I also focus on game understanding, tactics, positioning and movement. We train them to play, attack, defend and support as a team. That’s where life lessons come in through communication, cooperation and responsibility,” add Coach Yong.

Among MILO Hidup Bola’s most celebrated alumni are Nik Akif Syahiran Nik Mat and Nur Alya Marissa Nur Al Fatah, whose journeys from local clinics to national representation illustrate what dedication can achieve.

Nik Akif now patrols the Penang FC defence, while Nur Alya Marissa has earned acclaim on international futsal stages.

Their success is mirrored by peers such as Azri Ghani of KL City, Arif Aiman of JDT FC, Shivan Pillay of Perak FC and Feroz Baharudin of JDT FC – each of whom first honed their talents on MILO Hidup Bola courts.

For many alumni, MILO Hidup Bola’s influence reaches far beyond Malaysian courts. Nur Dhiyaa Addin (pic below) was honoured as Pemain Muda Terbaik Liga Wanita Nasional 2024 recently.

She was among the 24 chosen through the MILO Champions Clinic – FC Barcelona Edition, who vividly recalls her 2018 Barcelona tour, training under Barcelona coaches for eleven days was surreal. The tactical focus on Tiki-Taka, the cooler weather, the intensity of each session. Whenever I felt overwhelmed, MILO’s motto at that time ‘Takkan Gentar’ (Never Give Up) kept me going. Each week of that clinic tackled a new skill, laying the foundation for my professional career”.

In hopes of one day being in the position to discover and nurture future talents, her advice for the next generation is ever give up.

Talent alone is not enough, you need discipline, hard work and humility to succeed. Make the most of every opportunity, listen to your coaches, and don’t be afraid to ask questions to improve yourself.”

AZROY IN A CLASS OF HIS OWN TO WIN ASB1000 RACE 1

SEPANG, May 31 – Azroy Hakeem Anuar stamped his class as he emerges as the winner of Race 1 in the ASB1000 category during Round 2 of the Idemitsu FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) at Petronas International Circuit Sepang today.

The Idemitsu Honda Racing Malaysia team rider, starting from third on the grid, displayed a confident riding style that allowed him to lead the race from the second lap.

Throughout Race 1, he was repeatedly challenged by Hafiz Syahrin Abdullah of the JDT Racing team, but he remained calm and tactically managed the race.

As the race went into the seventh lap, Azroy pulled further ahead and this lead continued until the final lap, crossing the finish line in a time of 25:22.336 seconds.

It was Azroy’s first victory since entering the ASB1000 class at ARRC. His teammate, Muhammad Zaqhwan Zaidi finished third while Hafiz Syahrin was content with second place.

“This is the result of hard work by the team throughout the week and I am very grateful to have won this race. My bike was in excellent condition and I am very satisfied with this achievement.

“I will continue working hard and strive to maintain this momentum in Race 2 tomorrow,” said Azroy.

Meanwhile, national rider Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin (Hong Leong Yamaha Racing) showcased his agility during Race 1 in the SS600 class.

He admitted it was a very intense race with all riders delivering outstanding performances in their pursuit of a podium finish.

At the start, the race was led by Muhammad Helmi Azman of the Idemitsu Honda Racing Malaysia, but a mistake made halfway through allowed other riders to overtake.

Kasma capitalized on the opportunity to move ahead but was unable to defend his lead as on the final lap he was overtaken by Indonesia’s Muhammad Adenanta Putra (Astra Honda Racing Team).

Adenanta finished with a time of 21:52.467s, beating Kasma who had to settle for second place with a 0.172s difference. Thai rider Anupab Sarmoon finished third with a time of 21:52.811s.

In the AP250 class, Indonesian riders lived up to their expectations with Fadillah Arbi Aditama (Astra Honda Racing Team) winning Race 1 with a time of 19:22.493s, followed by fellow Indonesian, Irfan Ardiansyah (Maetro NWN SCK Honda Racing Team) in second place while local rider Md Izam Ikmal from Victor Racing Team finishing third.

Race 1 for UB150 category was particularly exciting. Overall leader, Husni Zainul Fuadzy from ZIEAR LFN HP969 MCR RBT 34 Indonesia demonstrated his might again, winning with a time of 10:30.863s.

This victory further strengthened his overall standing having recorded the same result in Race 1 at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand last month.

“I am very satisfied with this result. My focus throughout the race was simply to enjoy it and stay in the leading group and it paid off.

“I will try to maintain this performance tomorrow in Race 2 to repeat this success,” said Husni.

Race 1 was temporarily halted due to several riders crashed, resulting in the track surface becoming somewhat ‘dirty’ with oil spills. After nearly 20 minutes of cleaning, the 6-lap race resumed smoothly.

Once restarted, the competition intensified again between Indonesian and Malaysian riders with them frequently swapping positions for the lead.

Malaysian rider Md Akid Aziz (Pitsbike Superfast JRT Racing Team) who was briefly in front, was unable to maintain his momentum but was still satisfied to finish the race in third position with a time of 10:31.297s.

In the Superpole session earlier today, Akid posted the fastest time.

Race 2 for all categories will be held tomorrow.

ARRC ROUND 2: TENSE COMPETITION EXPECTED IN SEPANG THIS WEEK END

SEPANG, May 30 – After a year, the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) returns to shake the Petronas International Circuit in Sepang today.

The action of Round 2 Asia’s premier motorcycle championship kicked off today, with all riders beginning free practice sessions as preparation for Race 1 tomorrow and Race 2 on Sunday.

The 2025 season of this championship, promoted and organized by Two Wheels Motor Racing (TWMR), started with Round 1 at Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Thailand, from April 25-27.

In Round 1, the national riders delivered impressive performances, notably achieving podium finishes through sensational rider Muhammad Zaqhwan Zaidi (Idemitsu Honda Racing Malaysia), who finished second in Race 1 in the ASB1000 class with fellow countryman Hafiz Syahrin Abdullah (JDT Racing Team) finishing third.

Zaqhwan maintained his consistency in Race 2 to continue to be on the podium, securing second overall in the rider category with 40 points. The overall standings in the ASB1000 class are led by Thailand’s Nakarin Atiratphuvapat (Honda Racing Team Thailand) with 50 points following wins in both races.

Also showing outstanding performance in Round 1 was Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin (Hong Leong Yamaha Racing), who emerged as the winner of Race 2 in the SS600 category despite failing to finish Race 1 the day before.

In the AP250 class, the competition was dominated by riders from Indonesia and Vietnam, while the Malaysian riders have yet to show their full potential.

The top contenders for Malaysia in the UB150 class are Ahmad Afif Amran and Md Akid Aziz (Pitsbike Superfast JRT Racing Team), but both are still not at their best pace from Round 1.

Will the Malaysian riders rise for Round 2 this week after their less convincing performance in Buriram two months ago?

What certain is that they never disappoint when racing on their home turf, especially with strong local fan support as shown in previous seasons.

However, success still depends on the performance of their bikes. If the machines are set up optimally and suit the riders’ riding styles, victory is definitely within reach.

Today’s opening session for Round 2 featured free practice and the Malaysian riders seemed to already send an early warning to their competitors, especially riders from Thailand and Indonesia who dominated Round 1.

Although just a warm-up session, the Malaysian riders performances demonstrated that they are ready to conquer the Petronas International Circuit Sepang this week.

In the ASB1000 class practice session today, Azroy Hakeem Anuar (Idemitsu Honda Racing Malaysia) stood out as the fastest rider with a lap time of 2:05.882 seconds.

The winner of Round 1 in Buriram, Nakarin finished the session as the second-fastest rider while Zaqhwan completed the top three with the third-fastest time.

In the SS600 class, three Malaysian riders performed well with Muhammad Helmi Azman (Idemitsu Honda Racing Malaysia) the fastest at 2:10.204 seconds followed by Kasma Daniel (Hong Leong Yamaha Racing) in second at 2:10.435 seconds per lap.

Another rider from Idemitsu Honda Racing Malaysia, Khairul Idham Pawi who made Malaysia proud at the 2016 Moto3 Argentina GP, finished today’s session in third place with a time of 2:10.574 seconds.

As expected, the practice sessions for the AP250 class continued to showcase dominance from Indonesian riders with Mohammad Murobbil Vitoni (Yamaha LFN HP969 Indonesia Racing Team) fastest at 2:23.346 seconds ahead of Malaysia’s Muhammad Irfan Amidi (Maetro NWN SCK Racing Team) who recorded 2:23.397 seconds.

The hope is that Irfan can maintain this excellent performance in his quest to break through to the podium.

In the UB150 class, Indonesia continued to dominate the top two spots in today’s second free practice session. However, Malaysian rider Ahmad Afif Amran was seen as the strongest contender after recording the fastest combined practice time.

Tomorrow’s action begins with qualifying sessions followed by Race 1 in the afternoon. Spectators can look forward to intense battles as riders chase their dreams of reaching the podium.

Besides the exciting on-track action in Round 2, visitors will also have the chance to participate in the ARRC Happy Bag lucky draw with a purchase of the bag priced at RM65. The bag worth over RM150 will be available at the Happy Bag booth at the championship promotion site starting tomorrow and Sunday.

56th EDITION MOE-MSSM-MILO SPORTS AWARD HONOURS MALAYSIA’S YOUNG SPORTING HEROES

PUTRAJAYA, April 29 – The 56th edition MOE-MSSM-MILO Sports Awards 2024 honours Malaysia’s outstanding young athletes who demonstrate not only exceptional skill in their chosen sports but also remarkable dedication to academic excellence.

Each year, these awards highlight students who balance dedicated training sessions alongside an active school timetable, showcasing discipline, resilience and character as hallmarks of their journey.

Behind each student’s success is an inspiring story—filled with early mornings, personal sacrifices and unwavering encouragement from coaches, families and teachers.

These student-athletes stand as examples, illustrating how sports nurture qualities that help shape confident, capable young Malaysians who are ready to face the challenges of tomorrow.

At the ceremony, 17-year old badminton player, Dania Sofea Zaidi from Johor who was awarded the Anugerah Puteri MSSM said, balances training and academics with unwavering discipline are important “matches” that demand focus and her father’s encouragement fuels her determination.

“He never stops reminding me not to give up easily and to always give my best every time I step onto the court,” said Sofea.

Inspired by the presence of MILO and their featured athletes since young, Dania has developed mental resilience and strategic thinking through badminton, applying these lessons to every part of her life as she pursues her dreams.

For Aleeya Fariesya Faizul Rizal, 20, a para-swimmer from Putrajaya and recipient of the Anugerah Puteri Para, has built discipline and resilience through her sporting journey.

Despite facing unique challenges as a para-athlete, Aleeya remains motivated by small victories and community support.

She admits: “I always feel nervous and scared when going to compete in a tournament, afraid of failure. However, with each race, I learn something new, drawing strength from my family and the pride of representing Malaysia.”

Balancing training and academics through strong organisation, Aleeya continues to champion greater inclusivity for para-athletes in Malaysia.

Recipient of the Anugerah Guru Berjasa (male), Shurian Mansor has spent over 40 years developing hockey talent in Perlis through Tunas Cemerlang and MSSM, leading Perlis to the SUKMA 2010 final and two Division 2 league titles.

His students have gone on to national success, with Shurizan managing Malaysia’s teams to a silver (men) and bronze (women) at the Asian Indoor Hockey Cup.

“As a son from Perlis, I feel a responsibility to give back through hockey. The potential of Perlis players drives me to guide them to success. This award strengthens my belief that with sincere guidance, we can help young athletes achieve their dreams and bring pride to the state,” said Shurian reflecting his lifelong dedication to grassroots sports and youth development.

For over six decades, MILO has stood side-by-side with the Ministry of Education (MOE) and MSSM, working collaboratively to cultivate Malaysia’s future through sports from the grassroots upwards.

3,000 CYCLISTS THRONG CITY CENTRE FOR OCBC CYCLE KL 2025

KUALA LUMPUR, April 27 – A record 3,000 cyclists from all walks of life
converged on 25 kilometres of closed roads in Kuala Lumpur this morning for
the eighth edition of OCBC Cycle Kuala Lumpur, its longest non-overlapping
stretch since the series began.

Carrying the theme “Let’s Go Cycle,” OCBC Cycle KL 2025 was flagged off at
6.45am by Director of Culture, Arts, Tourism and Sports DBKL, Naquib Hamdan together CEO of OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, Tan Chor Sen and Nezzam Malek, the CEO of Multigreen Events.

CEO of OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad, Syed Abdull Aziz Syed Kechik joined the
participants in the 50-kilometre category along with 400 of his OCBC colleagues.

The eighth edition of OCBC Cycle KL, featuring participants from Malaysia and
30 other countries, saw a more serious cyclists riding through the longest-ever
50-kilometre route (2 loops of the 25-kilometre route) while the leisure cyclists
opted for the single loop of 25-kilometre ride.

Kids took part on their own push bike rides while teams took on The KL Mayor’s Ride. The route had new twists and turns compared to last year, including new stretches such as Jalan Conlay and Jalan Kia Peng.

According to Tan Chor Sen, OCBC Cycle KL 2025 has grown over the years to
become a much anticipated annual event, which the Bank is proud to host for
the community in Kuala Lumpur.

“We were pleased to once again see the smiles of the participants who came in
droves to the starting line at 6.45am for the flag off of yet another exciting ride.

“It was gratifying to see families and kids alike enjoying themselves in the push
bike category too. And we are ever grateful to the authorities, the Police and
City Hall for their relentless support in helping to make this event a reality yet
again.

“It is no mean feat to pull off something like this as it involves fully closed
roads in the city centre and thus the full cooperation of a wide range of parties.

“As part on our ongoing quest to become more sustainable in our endeavours,
OCBC Cycle KL 2025 sought to be even more environmentally-friendly. We
controlled single use plastics and instilled greater respect for the preservation
of our surroundings and to the recycling agenda,” he said.

Among other things, the event saw very limited or no use of plastic packaging
for the event packs.

There were no paper flyers in the event packs as well. They were instead replaced by large information boards at the event as well as information on the OCBC Cycle KL website.

Absent also was the usual bubble wrap for medals, which were placed around participants’ necks or handed to them unwrapped.

Recycling bins could be seen at strategic locations for collection of banana peels, which were then sent off for composting.

According to the CEO of Multigreen Events, Nezzam Malek,reen Events, which organises
OCBC Cycle KL, the level of participation this year, is the highest to-date and it’s demonstrated that people love both cycling and the city.

“It is pleasing to see such a huge turnout, from our KL community and those
from 30 different nationalities. I trust they all had a great time. As part of our
commitment to safe cycling, we are grateful to DBKL and PDRM for helping us
in ensuring a smooth ride for all,” he said.

OCBC Cycle KL 2025 featured prizes for three bicycle types for adults – mountain,
road and folding bikes – for both men and women.

All participants received a medal and digital certificate for participating, along with goodies from the sponsors.

Majlis penyampaian hadiah telah disempurnakan oleh Pengarah Jabatan Kebudayaan, Kesenian, Pelancongan dan Sukan DBKL, Naquib Hamdan, serta Timbalan Pengarah Kanan, Izwan Razif Salehaped.

KUALA LUMPUR, 4 Mei – Ahmad Shuffin Roissuddin dari Kajang dinobatkan sebagai juara Cabaran Joran Kuala Lumpur 2025 selepas berjaya menaikkan seekor ikan patin seberat 15.815 kilogram (kg) pada pertandingan memancing Cabaran Joran KL 2025 di Tasik Permaisuri, Ahad lalu.

Pengarah Jabatan Kebudayaan, Kesenian, Pelancongan dan Sukan DBKL, Naquib Hamdan serta Timbalan Pengarah Kanan, Izwan Razif Salehaped merakam gambar kenangan bersama pemenang Cabaran Joran KL 2025.

Kemenangan tersebut melayakkan beliau membawa pulang wang tunai RM5,000, mengatasi hampir 600 peserta dalam pertandingan anjuran Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) itu.

Ahmad Shuffin, seorang penghantar makanan, menggunakan umpan roti berperisa pandan dan hanya mengambil masa lapan minit untuk mendaratkan ikan tersebut.

“Sudah lebih dua puluh tahun saya menyertai pertandingan memancing. Alhamdulillah, kali ini tuah menyebelahi saya. Wang kemenangan ini saya akan kongsikan bersama rakan-rakan yang sentiasa memberi semangat selama ini.

“Saya sertai pertandingan ini sekadar suka-suka, tak sangka pula rezeki jadi juara,” katanya.

Majlis penyampaian hadiah telah disempurnakan oleh Pengarah Jabatan Kebudayaan, Kesenian, Pelancongan dan Sukan DBKL, Naquib Hamdan, serta Timbalan Pengarah Kanan, Izwan Razif Salehaped.

Tempat kedua dimenangi oleh Mahammad Shahzarul Aqil Mohd dari Seremban, Negeri Sembilan dengan tangkapan seberat 14.360 kilogram, membawa pulang RM2,000. Manakala tempat ketiga menjadi milik Mohd Faizlan Zallani yang menaikkan ikan seberat 13.840 kilogram, juga dari spesies patin, dan menerima RM1,000.

Para hakim sibuk menimbang ikan yang berjaya di naikkan oleh para peserta.

Pertandingan ini merupakan siri kedua Cabaran Joran Kuala Lumpur 2025 yang dianjurkan bersempena sambutan Hari Pekerja. Ia merupakan sebahagian daripada inisiatif untuk menggalakkan gaya hidup sihat serta menghargai sumbangan para pekerja, termasuk komuniti kaki pancing.

Ini juga adalah selari dengan hasrat Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur yang menggalakkan
penglibatan kerjasama sektor awam, swasta, rakyat dan rakan strategik.

Ini juga penting untuk mewujudkan masyarakat warga kota kearah ‘Liveable & Loveable City’.

Para peserta turut merakamkan penghargaan kepada DBKL atas penganjuran pertandingan yang menyeronokkan serta memberi peluang warga kota menikmati aktiviti santai dan berfaedah sempena cuti umum Hari Pekerja.

Penyertaan pemancing dari pelbagai negeri termasuk Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Perak, Pahang dan Selangor turut memeriahkan suasana. Acara ini bukan sekadar pertandingan memancing, malah menjadi platform perpaduan komuniti bandar melalui gaya hidup sihat.

Siri ketiga Cabaran Joran Kuala Lumpur 2025 dijadual berlangsung di Tasik Metropolitan Kepong sempena sambutan Hari Kebangsaan akan datang.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 19 – ASICS Malaysia today announced the appointment of Allison Yee – a celebrated Malaysian endurance athlete and influencer as its newest brand ambassador.

The partnership between ASICS Malaysia and Allison Yee represents the brand’s commitment in fostering a healthier and more active lifestyle in the female community.

Graduating with a degree in Food Science and Technology from University Putra Malaysia, Allison began her athletic journey with casual running in 2014.

Over the years, she progressed into competitive endurance sports, making her mark in events like the 2019 SEA Games Duathlon, 2018 Ironman triathlon and the 2024 Tokyo Marathon.

Beyond her success as athlete, Allison has built a strong presence as content creator, blending her passion for running in her early 20s.

Her engaging content documenting her athletic progress has cultivated a loyal and growing fanbase.

With her energetic approach, Allison has become a compelling voice for running and well-being in Malaysia, inspiring and empowering others to lead active lifestyles.

MILO, YAYASAN DIDIK NEGARA SANTUNI MASYARAKAT YANG MEMERLUKAN MENERUSI JAULAH RAMADAN 2025

KOTA BHARU, 10 Mac – MILO telah menjalin kerjasama dengan dengan Yayasan Didik Negara untuk menyantuni masyarakat di seluruh negara menerusi program Jaulah Ramadan 2025.

Dengan semangat perpaduan dan kasih sayang, program tahunan anjuran Yayasan Didik Negara bersama sokongan MILO ini akan mendekati sekolah-sekolah dan keluarga terpilih di beberapa buah negeri yang bermula di Kelantan pada 9-10 Mac diikuti Sabah, Kedah, Sarawak, Pulau Pinang dan Putrajaya.

Pada program di Kota Bharu, Jaulah Ramadan 2025 telah menganjurkan majlis berbuka puasa dan sahur di Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Naim Lil-Banat.

Program ini telah melibatkan lebih daripada 900 orang murid, yang bersama-sama menikmati juadah dalam suasana penuh ukhuwah.

Melalui inisiatif ini, Jaulah Ramadan 2025 berhasrat untuk memupuk semangat juang dan kerjasama dalam diri murid-murid melalui pengalaman yang dikongsi bersama.

Selain itu, program ini juga bertujuan menanam nilai-nilai bertoleransi serta memperkukuh semangat kebersamaan dalam komuniti, seiring dengan keberkatan bulan Ramadan.

Sokongan MILO untuk program Jaulah Ramadan 2025 merangkumi pengagihan 1,100 Bakul Ramadan yang mengandungi nutrisi penting untuk masyarakat yang memerlukan sepanjang bulan Ramadan.

Setiap bakul dilengkapi dengan pek MILO agar para pelajar mendapat bekalan minuman berkhasiat.

Inisiatif ini menyerlahkan komitmen MILO dan Yayasan Didik Negara untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan komuniti melalui nutrisi dan pendidikan yang betul.

Selain itu, MAGGI turut menyumbang keperluan memasak untuk kit ‘Bakul Ramadan’ serta penyediaan bubur lambuk sebagai sebahagian daripada menu tradisi – seterusnya menyemarakkan semangat kebersamaan sepanjang Ramadan.

“Jaulah Ramadan 2025 merupakan bukti komitmen Yayasan Didik Negara dalam membantu membina kecemerlangan pelajaran dan nilai-nilai murni serta semangat kekitaan. Melalui program ini, kami ingin membantu pelajar dan keluarga yang memerlukan, sekaligus memastikan mereka memiliki keperluan asas sepanjang bulan Ramadan ini,” ujar Ketua Pegawai Kewangan Yayasan Didik Negara, Mohd Razi Jaafar.

Bagi Pegawai Eksekutif Perniagaan Nestle Ready-To-Drink Malaysia, Norkhayati Mohamed Hashimi, tahun ini adalah tahun istimewa buat MILO yang meraikan ulangtahun ke-75 bersama rakyat Malaysia.

“Kami terus bersemangat untuk membantu mereka yang memerlukan. Kerjasama dengan Yayasan Didik Negara melalui program Jaulah Ramadan 2025 adalah bukti komitmen kami untuk menjaga kebajikan masyarakat yang memerlukan di bulan Ramadan ini.Ia bukan sekadar menyumbang makanan, kami juga ingin merapatkan hubungan dan mengeratkan silaturahim dengan masyarakat tempatan,” jelas Norkhayati.

KPM, MSSM, MILO KUKUHKAN KERJASAMA BAGI MEMPERKASAKAN SUKAN PERINGKAT SEKOLAH

PUTRAJAYA, 27 Feb – Kementerian Pendidikan (KPM), Majlis Sukan Sekolah Malaysia (MSSM) dan MILO terus mengukuhkan kerjasama dalam misi memperkasakan aktiviti sukan dalam kalangan generasi muda.

Bagi merealisasikan komitmen tersebut KPM baru-baru ini telah melancarkan takwin sukan MSSM bagi tahun 2025 dengan menyenaraikan 24 acara yang bakal dipertandingkan pada kejohanan peringkat MSSM tahun ini.

Kerjasama tersebut merupakan satu lagi mercu tanda penting dalam pakatan yang terjalin erat selama 70 tahun, sekali gus memainkan peranan penting dalam usaha menyokong pembangunan atlet-atlet muda di peringkat akar umbi – sejajar dengan misi MILO Malaysia untuk membina sebuah negara yang aktif bersukan.

Kejohanan KPM-MSSM- MILO merupakan kemuncak pertandingan sukan peringkat sekolah di negra ini yang menghimpunkan atlet muda berbakat dari sekolah-sekolah rendah dan menengah di seluruh negara.

Pertandingan peringkat kebangsaan ini menyediakan platform penting untuk murid-murid sekolah menyerlahkan bakat masing-masing dalam pelbagai acara sukan yang dipertandingkan.

“Kejohanan MSSM bukan sekadar acara sukan biasa, tetapi juga lambang aspirasi negara untuk membina generasi baharu yang lebih baik, seimbang dan bersedia untuk menghadapi masa depan yang mampu menempuh cabaran dunia global.

“Saya yakin bahawa usaha berterusan seperti ini, kita dapat mencapai kejayaan lebih besar dan melahirkan lebih ramai atlet bertaraf dunia suatu hari nanti. Kami perlu melibatkan lebih ramai murid dengan memberi peluang untuk mereka menyertai kejohanan MSSM mengikut minat dan keupayaan masing-masing.

“Kita juga perlu melihat penganjuran kejohanan MSSM ini sebagai satu wadah yang boleh mencetus perubahan menyeluruh untuk mencapai matlamat Falsafah Pendidikan Negara,” jelas Ketua Pengarah Pendidikan Malaysia, Azman Adnan.

Sementara itu, Pegawai Eksekutif Perniagaan Milo Malaysia, Ng Su Yen berkata bahawa pihaknya sentiasa komited untuk menyokong pembangunan sukan sekolah di Malaysia dalam usaha melahirkan lebih ramai atlet berwibawa.

“Kami percaya sukan memainkan peranan penting untuk membina komuniti yang sihat dan aktif bagi mencerminkan falsafah kami iaitu ‘Sukan Ibarat Guru Terbaik.’ Menerusi sukan, anak-anak diajar nilai-nilai seperti disiplin, kecekalan dan kerjasama sepasukan – pengajaran yang juga boleh dimanfaatkan di luar arena sukan dan membimbing mereka dalam perjalanan hidup masing-masing,” tambah Su Yen.

“Berbangga sebagai produk buatan Malaysia oleh Rakyat Malaysia, MILO dikeluarkan di kilang terbesar dunia di Chembong, Negeri Sembilan dan sempena ulang tahunnya yang ke-75 di Malaysia, MILO terus komited untuk menyokong pembangunan negara berbekalkan semangat untuk meningkatkan kesihatan dan kecergasan rakyat Malaysia sejak turun-temurun”.

Menurut Su Yen lagi, menerusi kerjasama ini, ia  pasti memberi inspirasi kepada generasi muda bagi menggalakkan mereka mengamalkan gaya hidup yang lebih sihat dan menyumbang kepada pembangunan negara yang lebih kuat dan aktif.
