KUALA LUMPUR, 27 Oct – Malaysia’s sports-loving King Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah has done it again – making a personal donation to SSU Kelab Aman in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.
The RM70,000 donation and contribution from His Majesty are for the “Tengku Abdullah Hockey Turf” and sports development at SSU Kelab Aman.
SSU Kelab Aman president, Dr. Balbir Singh in thanking Al-Sultan for the donation and contribution also wished His Majesty good health, happiness, and prosperity to lead the country.
“We also wish to record our appreciation to Dato’ Majid Manjit Abdullah for his immense assistance in this matter (donation and contribution),” said Dr. Balbir who received the cheque for the amount from Dato Manjit during the cheque presentation ceremony held at the club recently.
Kelab Aman is a popular venue to get together where various sporting activities and family gatherings were organised amongst it’s members.
