Sebelum ini, Allahyarham yang berasal dari Johor Baharu telah banyak mencipta kejayaan di peringkat antarabangsa dengan meraih pingat emas pada Kejohanan Memanah Asia 2011 di Tehran, Iran serta Sukan SEA 2015 Singapura dan Sukan SEA 2017 di Kuala Lumpur.
Pemergian Allahyarham merupakan satu kehilangan besar buat arena sukan negara dan sukan memanah khususnya.
